About OEF

Oluwafemi Ebenezer Foundation (OEF) is a Nigerian humanitarian and community-impact nonprofit. We provide practical relief, support dignity and help underserved people and communities move towards greater safety, health, learning, opportunity and social connection. Feed Someone is our founding movement and flagship outreach initiative.

About the opportunity

The Partnerships and Fundraising Associate supports OEF's partner and donor-development pipeline. The role combines prospect research, professional outreach, relationship follow-up and accurate pipeline management rather than high-pressure fundraising.

Who we are looking for

A confident, resourceful and self-directed communicator who can research organisations, propose partnership ideas, write professional outreach and build relationships with care and persistence. Experience in business development, sales, fundraising, nonprofit work or community engagement is an advantage.

Nice to have: Familiarity with HubSpot or another customer relationship management system, Google Workspace, prospect-research platforms, email outreach tools and AI-enabled research or communication tools. The ability to learn new CRM and outreach platforms quickly is valued.

Core responsibilities

  • Research companies, foundations, communities and individual supporters aligned with OEF's mission.
  • Develop prospect profiles, outreach lists and concise partner briefs.
  • Draft personalised outreach emails and follow-up communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts, conversations, commitments and next actions.
  • Support introductory conversations and coordinate agreed follow-up with OEF leadership.

Expectations

  • A commitment of 10 hours per week for at least three months, arranged flexibly around agreed priorities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication.
  • Thoughtful, personalised outreach and responsible representation of OEF.
  • Consistent management of prospect records, follow-up actions and relationship timelines.
  • Good judgement when communicating with external organisations and supporters.
  • Initiative to identify promising prospects and propose thoughtful outreach approaches without waiting for step-by-step direction.

Benefits and experience

  • Practical experience in nonprofit partnerships, fundraising and stakeholder engagement.
  • Access to modern CRM, research, collaboration and AI-enabled tools.
  • Learning resources, practical training and relevant certification opportunities.
  • Professional recognition through verified LinkedIn experience and performance-based references or recommendations.
  • Potential consideration for future paid opportunities based on performance and organisational needs.
